Can anyone give me a rough idea of how much it would cost to re-rig a Westerly Centaur and also to have new bunk cushions? They would have to be done by a professional as I am not able to do either job. If anyone has had this done on a 26 footer recently I would be interested to know how much it cost.
Thanks,

Bob

Not quite the same, but for ballpark figures:

We paid £320+vat to supply but not fit new rigging for our 24-footer. The rigging screws were inspected and reused.

One new bunk cushion was £70 with reasonably nice fabric, I made the pattern as the old cushion was completely missing so no example for the upholsterers to copy from.

Complete set of cushions about £12-1500 depending on fabric and assuming new foam. Standing rigging £6-800 depending on type of rigging screws used.

You might get better information from The Westerly owners Association as well as potential sources.

Rigging with rigging screws (Good quality Sta Lok) will be about £400.00. If you would like a quote PM me and I can give a more accurate price. My records show me that some Centaur's were rigged with 5mm rigging but most with 6mm. The £400.00 is for 6mm. Hope this helps.

Morning Rob, thanks for your message. I am in Bradwell early March doing a sailing course, happy to check the rigging over at the same time. The rigging screws sometimes do not need to be replaced and if this is the case a large saving can be made. PM me if you decide to do the work.
