My balls fell out of the furling gear the other day so, of course, it jams.

Anyone got any ideas where one can get a replacement set of balls? They seem to be made of plastic, and I can't find a supplier.

Anyone had a similar experience, and might put me onto someone?

Thanks,

Tim

Would really help to have the name of the manufacturer. If you have that, just Google it and you probably get your answer or other forumites might know if you have no luck.

Same thing happened to me with the upper swivel. Some balls came out whole and the rest in bits (they are steel by the way.) I tried to get stainless balls of the right size from engineering suppliers and found that they are supplied by the thousand (for £18 +VAT), but would not be available for about four weeks. Naturally the boat was due to be launched the next week. I had to resort to the local rigging company at the marina who charged 50 pence each. And I needed 60 of them.
