I've got the gear change sorted on the stbd drive so it's now nice and smooth but another minor irritation is for the same revs on the stbd engine as the port, I have to have the stbd control further forward by about at say, 3000 revs. How do I adjust for this please. Is it simply a case of adjusting the connection at the engine / throttle body?

will do some reading but thought I'd ask for opinion too.

cheers Gary

The twin engine mechanism is two single units back to back to if he neutral position is not vertical that will magnify when the levers are together after that how the cables are fitted can add to the problem with different numbers of bends drag etc
Best you can do is match the amount of thread left exposed at both ends of each cable
If the the travel on the governor levers is same then handles should go through same arc a simple check that both levers are in same position when they start to open the throttles should help
The basic installation sheets for the controls along with the installation manuals should give specific dimension to work from
