Daft bugger, we insisted on being inside the pontoon/breakwater. Why they put visiting boats out there when there is room in the marina, god only knows. The marinas half empty.
Unbelievable. Was rubbish for us today in Itchen, then Hamble, then Lymington. If the forecast had said that and been believable I would have clearly come to chichester. They really did excel themselves in their inability to forecast this weekend. That really has made me double fed up to know I could have had a sunny day if they'd done their job.
Even better today /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I've had to come down below as it's too hot on the flybridge. It was OK over the seafood lunch, with the ice cold champers to cool us down, but now it's just too warm. You guys back in Blightly don't know how lucky you are.
Oh, hang on, i've just realised I could go for a swim to cool off. Phew .... crisis avoided.

It's the Solent and south we want the sun in!
Seems like it was only the Solent that had poor weather over the weekend. A pal went down to OV on Saturday from Poole and the weather was so poor he turned around and came back!
We turned West out of Poole and had three marvellous sunny, blue skies days off Dorset with calm sea and F2/3s. The best Easter I can remember for a long time - apart from the 4 hour drive down on Friday.
