Well, we stayed overnight last night in the Solent Spa Hotel. To come and play today, what a waste of time! Went home. So what do people thing about tomorrow? Any chance of it being sunny or am I wasting my time? Left boat in the water just in case /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I was going to be down yesterday (Sat) but it looked just too wet. So going down today late afternoon and hoping it will be a little brighter later and stay overnight on the IOW somewhere, the forecast tomorrow afternoon looks to be sunny-ish. Mind you as long as the wind is light and not always raining I'll be happy.

What is the problem, gloriuos weather, glorious day, shame I cannot be on the water. And as for tomorrow, who cares when today is so great!!!!
Weather here in Lancashire on Friday was as would be expected on a Bank Holiday, grey and horrible, yesterday was good, blue skies a bit of a breeze but no rain. And today there is hardly a breeze (well here in land anyway) and like I say live for today because tomorrow never comes.

Mal, in blue skies and no clouds Lancashire!!!
(So much for the frozen North eh?)

We had similar plans, didn't bother ending to the boat yesterday due to rubbish weather, going to head down later today, would be nice to get out for a blast but priority one is to polish the boat /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Hoping tomorrow will bring some decent weather, or at the very least not rain!!

If all else fails tomorrow have a wonder up the river to Eastlands boat yard and you can give me a hand /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Yes, OK, you devils in the west, we know. It's the Solent and south we want the sun in!

Next week looks a washout too...tomorrow is only chance..god I hope this isn't the start of another dreadful summer..

Come north, if you notice NONE of the Anglesey/North Wales gang are on here at the mo, which can only mean one thing . . . They are out on the water!!!
Haydn and Kawsaki cannot resist posting on here, and Little Ship does his fair share, but none are to be seen today, so it must be wall to wall boats up the Menai Straights at the moment. So maybe you should think about coming North, instead of hanging around the Hamble!

Weymouth was pleasant on Friday and Saturday if a tad bouncey getting there. Mupe bay was gorgeous today and now anchored by Swannage and it's absolutely flat. Great Easter so far /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

East Head is in the South or certainly was at lunchtime anyway -
In Chichester harbour (which is quite near the Solent). It was a very pleasant and peaceful afternoon, and still sunny in West Wittering as I type.

Glorious sunshine, blue skies and smooth to slight sea all weekend here so far /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

And Carraghyn's main engine was broke /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif.

Nice in Dublin - North Wales Saturday & Sunday.

Less so tomorrow p'haps.

It's been a good year our end so far - SV has logged 32hrs since January /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
