Bad weather in Sweden

I was whinging earlier this morning about bad weather in Sweden now that summer has finished. I didnt know the half of it. We just hd fairly strong winds and heavy rain - and the water in the harbour is a foot higher this morning.

how can summer have ended for you? We still have winter. Snow today with a max of 6 for me in Canberra. Roll on summer.

You do have a very pretty, perfectly formed low pressure system sitting over you at the moment. It has lovely spiralling fronts.

And Finland

The storm that went through helsinki last night was incredible. Extremely strong winds, incredible amounts of rain and almost constant lightning. The weather went from bright sunshine to almost night like darkness in about an hour.

Tuesday night is racing night here and the storm came mid race. I am waiting to hear the stories from last night.

Having spent the last two weeks sailing in Bohuslan, I have to say that it was nothing like the normal summer! All that low pressure, rain and colder than usual. However, water was still beautifully warm.

Dont be so sad! Here in Croatia is same weather - we have nice weather only from midlle of July to 1. Aug. Description with one word - disaster!
