It’s been the wettest spring I can remember.
We’ve managed two day trips so far this year, when normally we would have been out at every opportunity.
Today, 12/05/23, the forecast is looking drier for the next week. So fingers crossed.

We made it down to Hampton Court last Monday but currently at Walton hoping to get back to the marina today so we can go home.

This is my first time out since last October and it was for her ladyships 60th Birthday!

The river isn't very high but the stream is strong but it doesn't seem to stop the rowers going out and it is windy today too.

Had a lovely day last Sunday on the boat and I then got back from a work trip on Wed night in time for our company paddle board clean up from Petersham to Twickenham. What the hell happened in three days !!! Took most of them over an hour to get to the White Swan !

That said I only fished out two which was a result.

Fairly nasty altercation with Richmond Canoe Club ( again) I’m done with them now and speaking to the PLA.
