back in our home berth and the sun's come out

Well done Gary ,did you manage to sort your nuts out ok ? :D thanks for sorting last night . it was good to put some faces to names .

yay, Lorna Jane's bobbing about on the wet stuff again. bottle of vino opened just as the sun comes out. Happy days again :)

The sun must have come and gone whilst we were in tesco. I Told the wife to hurry up.

Was that you doing the pirouettes as you berthed this afternoon?

If it was you then I think those boys on deck were getting a bit dizzy.

Glad you are back on the water and getting some value from that very expensive berth of yours!

Cheers

Garold

GOOD JOB Gary!!!....... im STILL ermin n arrin about coming down.. how about an "on the spot weather forecast" valid untill next saturday??.................. (the one that say,s 30degs in the shade etc)!!!!

thanks guys:cool:

a tad cold in the mornings Steve.. 5 degrees at 7am today, brrrrrrr

took the boat out for a spin up the river today and can confirm everything is fixed, tabs, speedo, and last but not least, the sterndrive:cool: not a whisper of noise at full lock.

very nearly mowed down a dingy just outside the channel though half way between the Itchen and Hamble.. completely my fault(ish).. on the plane at 25knts, playing with the trim tabs, and watching the gauges for signs of trouble when a dinghy hell bent on colregs was spied a few metres off the starboard quarter... avoided by a sharp turn to port at speed... again, my fault as I should have been keeping a watch but had my mind on the boat instead:o... he had stupidly large testicles to continue his course with the boat bearing down on him:rolleyes:

anyways, good to be back on the wet stuff.. off for a pint and a munch in the King and Queen to celebrate

Excellent. We had our first shakedown run this pm too. Sunny going upriver but hail stones on the way back. Saw IanS sometime of this parish going upstream in his Fairline Targa and looking very posh.

Just got back for SWMBO to sort out a dog sitter and grab a cooler full of beer then it's back to the marina this teatime for a serious drinkypoo and sealegs accruing overnighter.
