After a nice days fishing yesterday i beached as normal but didnt raise the engine power tilt quickly enough and she churned the sand up .... now today even after muff flushing the engine and the water jet from the engine seems somewhat slow ... Do these Mariner 60's have a backflshing facility on them. If so how is it done ?

al advice welcome ...

thanks

Give the water flow tell-tale hole a blast with compressed air if you have access, or a good jiggle about with a piece of wire when next on the flushing attachment, to get the flow back. If it still doesn't come back after this, you may need to investigate further.

Running sand through your system will erode your rubber impeller over time.
