B5 Props...looking for a reasonable priced set...

Hello,

I am new to the forum so just like to say I have found it a great source of information, some great contributers, thank you.

I know this may have been covered before so I apologise in advance.

I have a Fairline Sprint, (volvo penta petrol) which I am enjoying. Went out in the solent last week and must have hit something, lost all power and limped back with a lot of vibration, checked the props and the rear one badly damaged so I need to replace them, B5 duo's fitted and up this point they are all good. I am looking for replacement and am amazed at the prices, £515 + PP + VAT from Steel develoments and £417 + £70 delivery from a US supplier, I would prefer UK supplier in case of problems. Does anyone know of any other supplier, or a good second hand pair would do. Any help appreciated.

Can they not be repaired much cheaper steeldevelopments do repairs

Coastal rides often have discounted VP props and they also supply non-VP versions, Powertech I think. I have used them and they are fine. I have even mixed VP and Powertech on the same leg with no issues.
