We have just had our nimbus boat fail its bsc because of its fuel hose he had not seen before, the boat came from France and the pipes read hydarco 06, its a 1993 does anybody know if these are ok for the bsc
Find out what specification it needs to be and email Jonas.Gothberg@nimbus.se and ask him what specification they use?
He is a very helpful chap and sorted out various bits for me in the past.
ISO 16147 spec rings a bell.
Can be sourced from various fuel pipe suppliers.

mine passed on Thursday, took 3 hours to do a small 17ft bowride.. Completely by the book and very detailed which I thought was good as I know the boat's safer for the kids now... I'll have a look at the pipes fitted in the morning, iso 1740 rings a bell.
My fuel hoses failed and had to replaced to the BS as already stated here. I used jubilee clips to secure and it passed. The spring clips were on already and may have lost some tension, but don't kniow if this was the issue. I don't know if this will help. BSS can be a pain and some surveyors are not as picky as others. Bit like MP's I surpose
