Could someone please assist with this?
Please forgive my ignorance, and please feel free to explain in the most simple, layman terms as possible!

I have a Clipper Tactical Wind Mast Sensor. I would like to get that info into my B&G T12 chartplotter.
I understand that this Clipper unit does out put NMEA0183, but which cables to connect where?!

I have a Quark A026, wireless AIS receiver and multiplexer which I will put the wind vane into, then out of that into the B&G unit.

This is the Clipper wiring.

Which wires do I then take from the 'wind display' side and where do they go on the A026....

The red cables I have drawn on will then go to the B&G unit via a NMEA0183 cable.

Is there anyway of keeping my Clipper display working while also having the NMEA0183 cable going to the B&G?

I hope this makes sense.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Hugely appreciate

Pretty sure your T12 has 0183 inputs so the output from the NASA will go direct to the chart plotter. connection is covered in the installation manual. no need to go through the Quark. No reason not to keep the NASA display. One way to do it is to use Wago 3 way connectors for the NMEA wires from the sensor with one out going to the display and the other going to the plotter. This is how i have done it for 2 outputs from one source. You can see the Wago connectors in the middle.

Gotcha.
So my T12's NMEA0183 input is through the Video In.
If I connect up the the T12 like this......
I can have the 'Wind Display' cable and the Video In cable connected in the same block.

I should get the NASA NMEA0183 data into mt T12?

I'll give it a go and report back.
Many thanks!!

So onboard tonight.
Ive connected my BnG NMEA0183 cable to the wind clipper connection block.
Turned the clipper instrument on and it's working....
I then turn in the T12, and the clipper display stops working and no wind data in the T12
Anyone know what's going on?

I have. Sort of!
I connected my clipper directly via the NMEA0183 to get wind data. That worked. Turns out I had to connect the green and orange wire, not the blue and yellow.
However, I also wanted to get my AIS data from the Quark onto my B&G. So I disconnected the wind and connected the Quark. That worked.
This weekend I am going to try and connect the wind into the Quark then the Quark to the B&G, thus, hopefully, getting wind and AIS data to the B&G.
I'll keep you posted
Thanks
