Have a B&G network log, wind and depth which I want to connevc to my new C80 and ST60 Graphic and Ray pilot.

B&Gseems to output NMEA but what colour wires in the Network cable carry it? I have a newtwork junction box so it is easy to tap into but confused on the colours and no amount of searching seems to help. Any ideas please

Assuming I can presumably it is just a case of connecting to the NMEA in on the graphic and off we go or is my simplicity misplaced

Thanks in advance

Best of luck mate - I've just been trying to do something similar with 5 year old Raymarine polotter / instruments and 10 year old Simrad autohelm and radar. Failed miserably - they might all talk NMEA but its like a Geordie and a man from Louisiana. Same language but mutually incomprehensible. Only cost me £100 for the Raymarine interface box to discover that.

we also had to buy the raymarine interface box to get our navman plotter and raymarine st60 pilot to talk to each other. Works OK but something gets lost in translation because the plotter freezes and needs to be rebooted when pilot takes you to within about 500m of a waypoint. Great for night time unlit harbour entrances as you wait for the plotter to reboot..

The ST60 graphic repeats only a limited selection of NMEA sentences, and I don't think wind and depth are in that list. If you want to display these data, you'll probably need to convert them to seatalk using an interface and feed this to the Graphic.
