B&G Marine Audio unit integration to AXIOM

The page you linked to states:

"Works with Lowrance® HDS Gen3 and HDS Gen2 Touch; Simrad® NSS evo2, NSO evo2 and GO7; B&G® Zeus2, Zeus2 Glass Helm and Vulcan 7 "

So i'd say that's a no-go with the Axiom. The Axiom does work with Fusion audio systems.

The products Paul lists are all made by Navico, as is the device you’re asking about, so it’s not surprising that they work together. Raymarine is a competitor to Navico, so it’s also not surprising that the two companies haven’t agreed to make it work there. Fusion isn’t a competitor to either, so is more likely to work with both, and is also better known as a marine audio manufacturer.

However Fusion is owned by Garmin which is a competitor in the MFD space...
I understood that Fusion lead the way with N2K audio using proprietary PGNs but that there are now a set of standard PGNs for audio which have been adopted by the latest iteration of MFD software.
The SonicHub 2 does support these standard audio protocols so might be worth checking with Raymarine.

Garmin does indeed own Fusion, but Fusion is still operated independently and their systems will work with a variety of manufacturers MFDs, not just Garmin. They most definitely work with Raymarine Axioms, i fitted one a few weeks ago. They also work with some later Navico MFDs too.

Thank you - I just wasn't sure if the NMEA2000 protocols made it work with all of them but that's a
great steer thank you.
