We have a B&G H1000 system on our Bavaria 320 and the masthead cups rotate intermittently. The cups will rotate for a period and then just stop even though still plenty of wind. I've been up there and gave them a 'flick' which gets them moving for while, but then they just stop again 
Is this a known or common fault? Am I right in suspecting that the cups and/or bearings need replacing?
And how do I get the sensor unit off? It wasn't obvious to me while up there, I removed the mounting screws but then the cable was still attached, so that was wrong.
Someone suggested the sensor needs twisting by 90 or 180 to remove only that part from the entire arm, is that right?
