Watchet Festival returns for the 9th year over the August bank holiday weekend 28-30th 2015.

Watchet is a family friendly music festival with amazing views of the stunning West Somerset coast line and beyond. Complete with on site camping, 3 Stages, Over 50 live acts, bringing a wide range of high calibre musical acts not normally found performing in West Somerset at an affordable entrance price.

Hi all the gates are fitted for all the good they are,
We were over there last week for 4 days you are sat on the mud from 2.1/2 hrs after top water,
Nice village but the mrs was not to happy not enough shops but good for me more pubs and bars than shops.

Forecasts suggest the rain will have petered out before the weekend and light winds will prevail for Saturday and Sunday.

Had a great time at the rally.I think the final boat count was 28 so not a bad turnout.Weather was reasonably kind with some long periods of sun and light to moderate winds.

The marina gate now seems to work perfectly. About a meter of water remains on the Hammerhead berths at low water with less or none on the finger berths .If you do dry the mud is extremely soft ,I didn't see any boats dried out on a big angle.

Marina Staff were helpful and friendly as allways.

Thanks to the organizers for putting on another great BCYA event.The wine and prize giving reception (Best dressed boat Island Mist) was held on the main pontoon under a deep red sky making the occasion very atmospheric.
