Hi all, has anyone replaced the worn out flock lined window channel that Azimut use on the quarter moon electric opening windows and if so where did you get the channel from?
Both my windows channel have lost their flock finish and now the windows struggle against the bare rubber. I often spray with silicon oil which helps but would like to replace with new. Now the problem I have found is not being able to track down a profile or size the same as the original, anything coming up searching generally is for car use and is either to small or for thinner glass than the 6mm of the Azi windows. Any suggestions or help much appreciated, cheers Simon

Thanks buddy, I had seen their options and having measured I am not sure they have a suitable one but I shall ask them for a sample and see if if is suitable. Cheers

So after getting various samples from various suggestions I tracked down this channel which has done the job perfectly, it just about replicates the original, is easy to work with and cut where needed and one bonus is that it has the very small lip on the top edge which sits on the outside of the frame as per the original. There are a lot that seem the same from multiple suppliers but I only found this one with the little lip. So if you need any save the EBay link below. The end result has made a huge difference and the windows now run cleanly, smoothly and with less strain on the mechanicals so worth the effort.
Thanks to all who made suggestions.

Good result. Well done. I found that spraying with Silicon lubricant every couple of months kept the windows running smoothly

Yep very pleased and although I had tried the silicone spray most of the flocking had worn away in mine so it tended to fade away quickly but I shall keeping spraying the new ones to help them along.
