Any idea of value for 1996 Azimut 40 twin Cat 3116 320hrs. Any view on these cat engines good or bad?

We have one locally for sale 1995 build with 400hp Iveco asking is 200000 EUROS.
This one is Very good condition with full teak decks, extended platform, hydraulic passarelle etc etc

Cat 3116 320hrs. Any view on these cat engines good or bad?

1400 hours or so on mine (350hp version), never missed a beat.
The most significant maintenance they required was fitting heat exchangers on the diesel return lines.
In fact, diesel is also used to cool the heads, and after some hours of cruising the fuel tanks can get pretty hot.
As I recall, Cat offered these intercoolers as options also on new engines, so that boat might already have them. But if not, worth fitting them. Btw, I'd try to check if they were properly maintained and winterised, and the overall boat history: 320 hours on a 1996 boat sounds weird.
