I need to do some painting of aluminium motor frames and aluminium windows. I've got plenty of awlgrip 545 primer and etch left over from a previous job and I want to use it up. The primer is an epoxy primer, perfect for Awlgrip. I want to use this job as a trial to find a good alternative to awlgrip topcoat for my other jobs, so is there any topcoat that works pretty well with this primer? I'm thinking of maybe another LPU topcoat or maybe a 2 pack epoxy paint?
