Avon Typhoon Inflatable

I have recently bought a Typhoon inflatable from the widow of a clubmember who recently has died.
The dinghy is in excellent condition with no patches, and remains inflated over days without problems. It came with slatted floor, and two aluminium oars. But there is no thwart to sit on while rowing. It may be that it is like the Redstart, and had an inflatable bag. Anybody got a Typhoon and can advise?

I too bought one 2 or 3 years ago. Mine is the 2.30, with a round tail and detachable o/b bracket. It does have an inflatable thwart but I cant say about other models although a picture in an ad (1994) of a larger model, with solid transom, also looks the same.

Yep. My 260 has an inflatable thwart.
