Avon RIB Covers

Anyone know a good source for avon rib covers? I've got a rover rib 280 (with the centre console) and want a cover that uses the avon clips (rather than having to do the ties up under the rib - which is extremely difficult with the setup on the Elling). Would also like a dark blue cover along with my moon on a stick /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Of course, I asked a few folks at LIBS who promised to call me after the show. Fortunately, I didn't hold my breathe as I've yet to receive a call...

Ah well, close but apparently its Zodiac that do the sort of covers I'm after, not Avon. Shame, as the one that Barnet Marine sent me (which they said would clip onto the rubbing strake) doesn't. Very prompt and efficient service, but alas the wrong item...

Probably have to get one made that works around the problem.

Try Bembridge Outboards on Isle of Wight - they make them to order to fit your boat - around £150 last time I looked.

Have you tried Jim at JB Covers - he will make to order - bit slow though - I used him for a replacement set of cockpit covers last year and his work is good - quite well priced as well.
I've also just finished making my own passerelle cover from the same material - got all the bits from Kayospruce in Fareham.

BTW - just got back from Holland - whole trip took two weeks.
Interesting weather - all sorts.
Got to your restaurant in Willemstad - we all had the six course option. Had a great time.
I'll get your pilots and charts etc back to you as soon as I've sorted things out.
