Avon Redstart dinghy repair?

My wifes dinghy was second hand and it has occurred to me I know absolutely nothing about it. It has struck me that for all I know it may have been dragged up beaches etc and the outer skin maybe worn. I would rather find this out when it was not being used by either of us. Does any company specialise in adding skins to inflatables at a reasonable price?
