Does anyone know of any certified acoustic ranges that will enable a person to get their yacht certified under SI 1464 to use a new engine or propellor?
The ship science dept. ( here ) and the Institute of Sound and Vibration research ( ISVR ) are two departments who might be able to help. Commercial organisations such as Neptune Sonar ( here ), who run an acoustic range, may also be able to help, but might be prohibitively expensive. There is also the acoustic range at Portland, run by Bincleaves here .

[/ QUOTE ]Pity your bio is crap but READ the requirements and you might just find you do not need any certification - If you are a sailing yacht and it is even unlikly you would need any certification as a MoBo.
