What is wrong with it?
If it is just not extending the ram it is probably the output transistors (darlington pair)

If it rattles it could be the fluxgate fallen off a broken gimbal. Fix it with araldite.

I sent my ST2000 + back to Raymarine in Fareham in 2010 when it went on the blink & they gave a quote & repaired it when given the go ahead . Not cheap, tho much less than the cost of a replacement & still working OK. Water ingress sems to be the long term problem, so I put mine in a polythene sleeve when in use.
