Autohelm ST50 Wind Instrument

Does anyone know where I could get a replacement stalk from - the bit with the wind vane and anemometer, at the top of the mast.
I realise that this instrument is out of production, but someone must still stock spares, don't they?

These things seem to have a built in obsolescence. Mine failed just under a year ago and there have been a lot of posts similar to yours on here since then.

I suspect you'll be lucky to get one. I ended up replacing mine with an ST60 which is the version in production at Raymarine. Unfortunately it isn't compatible with the head unit so I had to replace that as well. About £550 squids if I remember correctly. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

you can align the ST60 transducer ok with the ST50 head but it will over-read the wind speed, and Raymarine will still claim its all backwards compatible. The ST50's went out of production 10 years ago.
