This DG has operated normally for a hundred times in the past since i bought the flybridge nearly new, All the instruments come on together when i switch on at the main lower cockpit switchbank. The repeaters on the fly are also activated. Now for the first time in10years only the DG and the repeater show a row of ---- and codelock. I have never had to use a code nor do i have the 4 number code. What has happened to change this? Only the DG has the lockout not the speed or any of the linked instruments.. The DG has not been disconnected other than being isolated at the main battery as is normal when leaving the boat. Help! The hand book shows how to punch in the code but not what to do when the ?code is not known.
