Dear fellow yachties,
I have launched my boat for the first time in 10yrs and have an issue with my ST30 Speed/Log in so much that the instrument head has a wandering speed display i.e. it reads about normal then ramps up to some ridiculous speed before drifting back down to read 0.0. Basically it’s very erratic and not working as it should!
Does anyone have an old unit following an upgrade that they don’t need or can give advice on where it could possibly be repaired please? I did buy one from eBay but sadly that didn’t work so seriously stuck here as my instrument pod was designed around the Autohelm ST30 range and if I have to buy new we are talking a new pod along with depth & wind as well as speed.
