I have a raymarine autohelm st 4000 (the grey version!) and have a defective plug connector that attaches the 2 core cable onto the motor (attached to the steering wheel). The plug is a waterproof connector with 2 'gold' pins in.

Does anyone know where I can get the 'gold' pins or get a complete plug?

(I've tried looking at the raymarine website and I find it totally lacking....!)

Thanks in advance

Have you emailed Raymarine, the UK support guys are very helpful and will probably be able to give you the part number you need to order from a Raymarine dealer.?

The Raymarine spares web-site is Raydirect.
It lists Tillerpilot plug & socket as ZRAYD337 & 8 at £24 each, (ouch!).
No photo so can't be certain it's what you want.
Edit; Apologies, read your post as Tillerpilot, different plug, but still might be listed on website.

I don't really know the wheelpilots, but I will say it's unlikely that Raymarine designed and built a special connector just for themselves. So while you may be able to buy it from them at a huge markup (equally, you may not), you may very well also be able to buy it from an industrial parts supplier for a quid or two.

http://uk.rs-online.com/web/ is one possible place to start.

A photo of the connector would help a great deal in suggesting what to look for. If it's a common type someone will probably be able to name it straight away.

It is a Raymarine unique bit. Tried to get one recently, but it is special order according to their dealer. I solved my problem a different way - it was the cable that was damaged, not the plug. Unless you are using the same cable you will need the special crimps, so it might be worth buying the whole cable.
