Changed the display unit on combined depth and speed system last winter.
The new unit reads speed OK but depth reads zero and flashing "metres".

Could this be antifouling over the transponder?
Or any other suggestions?

Suggests loss of signal for the depth. I would doubt it is the AF. Is the transducer sat in a tube, if so immerse it in liquid, e.g some engine oil.

There was another post on here yesterday with a similar issue and some good advice from those in the know.
