for those on this forum who don't normally look on Scuttlebut, I though I would share this Sunseeker 40m which is brand new out of Poole en route to the Med, which turned on the visitors pontoon here in St Helier yesterday...so new that there is no record of her on any of the 'superyacht sites' that can be quite interesting to rubber neck. very shiny and very tasty

although I was even more taken by this which was moored next to her

www.cinderellaiv.com

between those two, thats quite a lot of money tied up on our shiny new visitors pontoon!

Flower Power could be the tender to that yacht: fairly sure she would fit on the davits without sticking out too much at the sides :)

But why have a boat? At that size, surely it's like living in a hotel.. which begs the question why not just book a hotel....

I like boating - the feeling of being in a boat on the water....

Yes, quite a lot of money which has employed British workers and fed their families. We should give thanks that somebody is willing to spend their doubtless hard earned cash on a product made in Britain

Owner has done it at least twice it would appear. There is a Sunseeker 28m called Anya in Baie Des Anges marina in SofF, and I guess this 40m (because it's also called Anya) is its replacement. Nice upgrade!:encouragement:

Without the peeps buying new boat there would be no second hand ones for us fortunate ones to buy at discount prices

It's never likely to be a dilemma I shall face. I often show some lovely boats to SWMBO but she is of the opinion that there is a lack of privacy if you have crew. I understand they are discrete but they are always present.
