Some of you may know us, others will know the boat, but yesterday we left the River Medway. After saving our pennies we are spending 6 months on the boat travelling. First destination is Paris, then rough itinerary is along the north coast of France, Channel Islands, down the west coast of France to the Gulf Du Morhbian, across to the Scilley Isles, the Cornish coast up to Plymouth where we are going to settle. It was very sad leaving the Medway yesterday but the sight of clean, clear water soon meant muddy Cuxton was a distant memory. I'll still pop in now and again to catch up with what's going on in Kent and if anyone fancies following us I'm writing a blog as we go....

Our ultimate plan is a move to Corfu in a similar vein, but we're still 10 years away from that. Incidentally, I'll be 50 then too - seems like a good age to go!!
