Just received the latest update from ATYC.
It is gratifying that despite many head winds the organisation is carrying on .
It is easy to snipe from the sidelines but the fact is a few folks are still prepared to give up their time and frequently put a hand in their own pocket for the good of the navigation.
As we know a forum member spent much thankless time "helping" drag the association into the 19th century.
...........................and on a topical subject who actually owns a "yacht" in 2023.

Interested in the fact that the C in C of WID is going to be at a meeting.
Have visited WID on numerous occasions and thoroughly enjoyed it every single time, ad hoc club events and last big amazing ATYC rally.
At some point afterwards it became virtually impossible to communicate with the dock regards visiting.
Question !
Am a plain simple ordinary member of a boat club and have been tasked to organise a destination for a club cruise.
We are aware that a minimum number of boats will be required to make it worth while opening those lock gates.
Are you interested in organised club visits in the future and if so could we have clear and simple price structure somewhere online ?
Being asked to download a 30 page incomprehensible pdf does not compare well with a online booking form from St Kats with clear pricing or picking up the phone to South Dock.

Just saying.

RCC . Easter Cruise.
WID........................... Would have been ideal and first choice
Limehouse.... That would be fine.............................Sorry Shut Matey No visitors !
St Kats...............................
We are very busy that weekend............................However, we will squeeze you in, come a day earlier and leave a day later..
We want your money and thanks for choosing St Kats.
