Thanks everyone, there is loads of good advice here. The plan is to do a number of short hops including Lymington, Poole, Portland, Dartmouth, Salcombe and end in Plymouth. Dates are set so that the school holidays will have started (trying to make isn’t easy for families) and after the cruise in company, everyone decides where they want to go next. Some may head for the Isles of Scilly, others to Falmouth Week, Fowey week, etc and some may return to Hamble. We are saying the cruise is open to both sail and motor boats of 7m LOA and above. No club membership required.
