Hi,

My name is Ole K. Tobiassen and I've started an owners group for Princess 37 owners at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/princess37/

For more than a year I've been working on making an Ultimate Princess 37 Collection CD.

This is some of the content on the CD:

1) A facts sheet with the most important facts and figures.
2) Picture collections of more than 80 P37. In total more than 800 pictures. All model years represented. Pictures covering more than 24% of all P37 sold ever. Lots of rare configurations and nice modifications.
3) Brochures.
4) Drawings, manuals, layouts, wiring diagrams, and lots of other stuff. More than 260 pages of information.
5) Articles and tests.
6) Owners contacts. P37 owners from all over the world.
7) Links.

Sample picture from the CD - main menu at the top of the page.

If you are a Princess 37 owner and would to learn more about our group, please visit us at groups.yahoo.com/group/princess37/

At the web site you can apply for membership (Free) and then you will receive information about how to receive a free copy of the P37 CD.

If you are aware of Princess 37 owners, I'd appreciate if you gave them a tip about our group.

Thanks for your attention.

Regards

Hi, nice idea If you contact MarkStronge , a forumite he has the Princess Owners Club, perhaps you could combine forces.
Or at least link to each other.

Hi,
I've been in touch with Mark. Links between the two sites is in place. We've discussed joining forces, but currently I think Yahoo offers better forum functionality than the phpBB forum the POC group has moved to. But Mark has told me that new features will be added to the POC forum, so maybe we will join some time in the future. Thanks for your input.

If this is who I think it is from a Norwegian forum, I can confirm that Ole is very dedicated and a keen MOBO entusiast.... I also believe he has a P37 which is virtually a shell with 2 x 212's onboard. Believe the P37 he bought was subject to fire damage and I am sure he'll keep a full record of the reconstruction of her somewhere.

Lykke til!!

Alf

Yes, it is, Alf. I almost expected a comment from you here... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif Thanks for your kind words.

Hi Ole

I am not a P37 owner but it is one of the boats we will be looking at as a possible purchase in the future so information on your site will be invaluable. I am sure there will be others.

Can people like us gain access to the information on site?

Good luck with it - by the way - looks very profesional.

Good luck with the rebuild - would love to see photos as things progress as I'm sure would many others.

I will be posting photos of the rebuild at our Yahoo web site. I'll see if I can make a thread about the project also here. Thanks!

Until now, only P37 owners has been members of our group. But after posting this thread I've received requests from several people if they can also join because they have a interest in the boat or are considering to buy one. So I asked the group what they felt and it looks like they think the only requirement for membership should be an interest in the boat. So the answer is - yes - if you are interested in the P37, you are welcome to join us.

Okay - he, he... I diden't even notice. Too concentrated on P37 I guess. Thanks for your kind words about the site, but it's just standard Yahoo functionality - everyone can knock a similar site together for free in five minutes.

I just posted a goodie for you in the P37 group - a tip about a nice P37 brochure. Just to make sure you go for a P37...
