This is my second try at this, better luck this time?
When I was in Turkey I had a new backstay fitted, and re-arranged the reefing to allow the deep reef to be put in from the cockpit. I wanted to try it out and two people from other boats in the marina volunteered to crew with me for a day. We had a great day out and everything worked well. After lunch in Ciftlik we had a good sail on a beam reach towards Kadirga point, and I took this Video
If it works you may see 8.0 knots appear on the log, in fact this was before I re-calibrated the log because it was under reading. True speed was over 8.5 knots
