..A storm damaged their navigational systems and they were set adrift.
An RNLI lifeboat went to their rescue, taking them from the yacht which was stranded 68 miles out.

Who on earth writes this garbage? Is it me? When ever I read in the press about anything I know anything about, it always seems complete rubbish. What does that say about all the other stuff I know next to nothing about, but assume the press know more than me? All matters concerning the sea seem to be particularly bad....I suppose the posers in London who write this rubbish have never seen the real world outside London.

I have found the same.

On the few occassions I knew the true facts what was published bore little resemblence and it makes me doubt the accuracy of any newspaper reporting except of course the Sun & Daily Mail!!
