I' m preparing my boat for Arc.
6 on board. I figure out to use about 4 lit/ day pp .(drinking water )

Am I on the safe side?

Very safe, we worked on 3. Make sure you have an alternative to the fresh water tank in case this gets contaminated. With 6 on board you will be carrying a lot of water so you need to also think about cooking in sea water to conserve fresh. You also have to budget on an extended crossing should you have to run under a jury rig or have other mechanical failures which slow you down. I added 20 days to the expected 21 day crossing. In practice we had one 15 day and one 19 day crossing but this was in Jan when crossings are generally quicker. You will also be carrying juice which count towards the daily water intake, from memory I think we had 1ltrjuice pp/pday. Both trips we had full tanks but kept that as emergency back up to bottled water.
