From what I remember, that's the same basic hull etc. that Colvic sold as the 30 foot sailer ...... in which case I've got one which I fitted out from a bare hull in the late 1970's early 1980s. I bought lots of bits for mine from Atlanta when they went bust in (I think) 1980
She's never going to win a race - particularly with roller reefing on both sails - but she's comfortable, and I've had lots of fun over the past 20 years.

I thought the AV 8.5 was the same hull as the Macwester 27. I have one, draws 3ft 10in. very save feeling and reasonably cosy below for boats of that vintage but will not win any races. Much faster and closer winded than the Mac 26 of course
