At Last ! ! I\'m afloat.

Finally took delivery of my new (to me at least) yacht.

At present she's in Troon while I get organised to get her up to the North East.

If anyone's round that way this weekend from Saturday afternoon until Sunday afternoon, come aboard "Rowana" and you'll be made most welcome.

Saw Rowana over at the "waiting" pontoon last week - she is looking nice now - I've known her for several years - see you on Saturday or Sunday weather permitting.

Hi Jim, was at Ardrossan today and had a look at Rowana during her stopover. Looks a nice sound boat, good condition. You'll have great fun with her.

Co-incidentally, you're parked up just beside Superstrath's car ferry. I think we should arrange a meet! (ominous rumblings off stage)

I've measured it up and my Elan would fit nicely on either of the promenade decks. Not so sure about the Grande Espace!
A get-together would be good - someone make a date. I saw Rowana last week but failed to make the connection. In fact - brain cells working - when we were stuck in the marina over the holiday weekend, we went on the ferry to Brodick - was that Rowana lurking behind the breakwater for some time, until we sailed?

Saw your big cat but I didn't make the connection either. I think I saw you on board when I arrived. And yes, that was me skulking around the breakwater trying to get my ropes sorted out before going in to the Marina. I had just single handed up from Troon and had to wait for the ferry to depart before I could get in.

I'll be down again this weekend I hope !
