Started reading books again a few years ago, have thoroughly enjoyed it but seemed stuck on Clive Cusslers Oregon files books. I read them all before starting on the Dirk Pitt books.. I know I should branch out a bit but I find them easy reading and this suits me. following on from this I got into Lee Child and read all the Reachers.. In between I have read Andy McDermotts Gray series which I loved.. Now I'm at a loss, I like the series type books but I don't know what to read next, would like some suggestions from the more avid of readers amongst us.

Not a series but gripping nevertheless and with comedy in part,try THE SHARK NET by Robert Drewe.A mesmerising story of growing up in Perth W.Australia as the son of the Dunlop manager coupled with the story of a local murder.
Or for darker reading 'The Mint' by Aircraftsman Ross (TE Lawrence) on his experiences having re-enlisted incognito in the RAF.

I have got myself a Graham Hurley book to start off with and a Ryan Lock book by Matt Hilton

Other authors I have briefly researched are;
Tom Clancy
David Baldacci
James Patterson
John Grisham
Peter James
Tess someone

Any thoughts or experience on these or other authors would be appreciated

Tess Gerritsen I suspect? My missus reads a lot of her - I've not so no comment..

Peter James is brilliant, and I like Tom Clancy's earlier books (before he started co-authoring)
