There was a discussion here about Atlantic weather charts, in which someone was looking for a lost link to this site which displays charts forecasting up to four days ahead. Great site. If anyone knows of a similar site with charts for asia-pacific I would love to hear about it.

the pacific (barefoot route) is "owned" weatherwise by NOAA. Here is just an example. Googling will bring more.

Try https://www.fnmoc.navy.mil/PUBLIC/ and look at the 12 rain and surface for Tropical Indian Ocean. 144 hours is a bit odd sometimes but it is OK for general movements of systems.

Gives you an idea of the cloud coverage/storms for your region.
