Cheers

Have a good day!

An one more:

Have a good one Ash... :D

Happy birthday

Thanks everyone. I tried to answer last night but my mobile dongle wouldn’t play ball.

We’ve spent the weekend on board.

Yesterday we berthed at Port Bannatyne fairly early in the afternoon and walked into Rothesay so that we could check out how things worked in the inner harbour.

This salty water stuff is proving to be OK!! And everything is new to us so good fun.

Ash

PS – It was like a Vega convention in Port Bannatyne last night – 3 of us berthed there.

Belated Happy Birthday Ash.
That must be you 40ish now? They say "A man is only as old as the woman he feels";)

We were out all wk end from fri until mon eve, must have just missed you at Rothesay as we were there from early afternoon on sat until early afternoon on sunday.
Was a toss for PB or Rothesay but settled on the latter.
Met some other good company there Alex Morton and his wife Allison on Eilean.
What a great wk end it was.
Hoping to be back out thur to sun, weather permitting.
All the best. C_W

I only saw 2?

I was the solo one, I only saw another Vega whose owner helped me to berth (very grateful to him and the marina gent).

Maybe we should do a Clyde convention one day... I could certainly do with a few tips from experienced owners!

That was me. The other Vega, 'Lyra' had a white hull / blue decks and was on the same side of the pontoon as you - nearer the entrance - think that she's based at Tighnabruaich in the Kyles.

This is our first season on the Clyde, our first in the sea - we were previously based on Loch Lomond.

There are quite a few Vegas in the area - at least 3 in Kip plus another for sale.

Are you a member of the VAGB?

Keep in touch and we'll keep an eye out for you.

Cheers

Ash

Thank you

Cheers Ash and belated Happy Birthday.
Thanks again for the line, first time in that marina ever and it was only my 3rd weekend on the boat. Learning every day.

Sure we will meet again around the places, I'm going out every weekend, I have not yet joined the VAGB, in the list of To-Do things.

Also in my list of things to learn is how to use a spirits burner... fed up eating pre-packed sandwiches and salads all the time. I will be less shy this weekend and actually ask someone to show me how to use the thing!
