Ashlett Creek welcomes visitors

£30 for a 10 mtr Up a stinking mud ditch possibly in the hope of paying for said pontoon, or go to the Parish quay wall at Ashlett for free, or you could go to Bucklers Hard Marina with power and water with beautiful views, or 3 nights at Folly reach for nearly the same money, I'm sure they'll welcome visitors!

I find it hard to choose:rolleyes:

Just to bring some balance to this, CAC has pontoons up a ditch, it has water, it has electricity (if you bring yer own extension lead:D) it has showers and toilets, The Spinnaker bar with food at reasonable rates,

Under 20' fiver a night, over 20' seven squid a night, you sit in soft mud when the waters gone, or anchor for free. It's never goin't'be Yarmouth with brand new Walcon 'toons but neither is the price.

Latest news from Ashlett Creek. The water is now connected and electricity soon but the charges
have been reduced so a short stay will cost £5 for any length boat and an overnight £10.
No extra for water, leccy or showers. Food and club priced drinks in The Mill.

So visitors are even more welcome.

At least it would appear that someone on the committee has used their common sense. Although I got the impression motor boats are about as welcome as a fart in a spacesuit.
