I saw inflatables in Asda and ignored them previously, but today I noticed they are reduced to £225. Are they reasonable for the price? I was in a rush but I think it said max 5hp outbd.

I saw the inflatables stacked in boxes in Asda in Penryn on Monday: looks like a pretty standard small Chinese PVC inflatable (not a beach toy) at a very good price. They had a plastic kayak on display, but not one of the inflatables. I already have two inflatables, but if I needed a small one I'd have bought one.

I think there might be a fundamental problem with that one, but I can't quite put my finger on it at the moment. :)

No sidelights or sternlight. It's less than 7m but it has a forward-facing steaming light rather than an all-round white so 23d(ii) doesn't apply.

And that creepy blue fecker in the cockpit looks like a serial killer

There's a school of thought that says they're all made in the same Chinese factory. For the money it could be good value. Don't you just love ebay product descriptions:

"Produced by Bestway, a company renowned for quality, affordability and decades of manufacturing experience in the inflatable industry. "

Interesting, it says water resistant keel???
also it states aluminium floor boards but goes on to describe how they are made of plywood. Still if the 2.4 is £225 in Adsa it would be worth a gamble especially as I could get another 10% off through employee family discount. Pity my Seago eco light which is anything but light is still ok.
