I don't believe it!
Over the last couple of weeks there has been various programmes re. Blue tongue disease in farm animals. The last one was an in-depth report on BBC Countryfile.
I have watched them and what came through was that it cannot be transmitted from animal to animal or from human to animal. The only transmission route is via midges!
So what do I see on TV tonight ~ an outbreak in East Anglia and plod has got the road blocked off with a sign, car and two plods standing there to prevent anyone from entering the area.
WHY?
Are they trying to "stop and search" any midges?
God give me strength.
The next thing will be GB saying he's on top of the problem but it's going to cost the tax-payer.
Peter.
