The following has been sent to me by the vessel featured previously .... a 100,000 Ton Tanker sailing the North Sea / Baltic region ... this vessel is a hard working non-stop Crude Oil carrier ... and I really thank the guys for taking the time to copy and send on the data ....

For commercial reasons the vessel ID is removed.

So data taken from the picture ......

Vsl LOA 246.8m

To stop loaded condition with full astern engine, min rudder use and from :
Full Sea speed 14.75 Kts 3520m 15 mins 15 secs
Full speed 10.6 kts 1740m 10 mins 00 secs
Half speed 8.8 kts 1310m 8 mins 50 secs
Slow speed 6.4 kts 820 m 7 mins 10 secs

The rest can be picked off the chart shown here ... if you right click on it and choose save - you can get a copy that you can print and read better .....

Thanks for the Data sheets Nigel, your stopping distances
make interesting reading, at Full sea speed she stops
quicker than i thought. Would have loved to have got
the rest of the data, but comes out blurred on my Pooter.
