What's all this bollocks they are spouting on the Beeb about "..now the Autumn Equinox has passed the nights are getting longer and the days shorter....."
on Times Online they said "...It is the autumn equinox, and after today the nights grow longer......."

They are meteorologists for heaven's sake. Days have been shortening and nights lengthening since June !!

What they mean is the night is getting longer than the days but they never say that. So all divvy Britain thinks the process has started this week.
