Around UK small Yacht?

I Know lots of you will be able to help me. I'm looking for advice on a confortable small yacht that will be suitable for me to attempt a trip round the uk next year. 90% of the trip will be day sailing with most stops being marina based. A major consideration is the balance between boat speed and tub like reliability. Any advice will be taken 'on board'. Thanks again.

Several people have used Corribee's. These appear to be available for about £2k.

Thanks for the question i'm looking at upto 21ft but with a budget of around £2-3k i'm may adjust my size.

If you are going round the top of Scotland, don't expect to find too many marinas if day sailing.

A friend has done the trip twice using an Achilles triple keeler in the 20 ft region. Not the worlds most comfortable boat (no headroom) but a good sea boat.

Stopping in Marinas most nights will just about use up your budget.
