Arny\'s boat meets hlb\'s boat

& no, it was not boat hooks at dawn, nice words were spoken earlier, by Paul & myself, wished him well, & he is doing very well apparently in collecting for the RNLI.

Then we ended up on the fuel pontoon a few yards from Arny's boat. Then the diesel would not pump, so we shot off to refuel at Deganway, obviously in a cloud of black smoke.

Someone who had his new boat for 3.5 hours had this week got it stuck on the lock gate into Deganway, oh dear. Glad it wasn't us.

I had a nice chat with Deborahann... I would have liked to have done the same with hlb but he dashed by without even saying hello. Too late now... looks like I am away to IoM tomorrow so the moment is lost. hlb and I will have to continue our chatting up over the internet /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Yep, too choices really. Henry would have a crap at the most unoportune place, or hurried him along. Or chat to Arny. Henry won, keep him going, then just crap next to another boat. Yep we've got the bags and thingies, but hew cant crap the middle of know where, Tas to be on some ones doorsep.

Not to sure whether I was the instigator, or recipiatet of agresion. could not have had a great lot to say to Arny .though. Shipa pASSING in the night Give up to this garble thoughth night on this half brained newby.

Just want to add to the nice words about Deb. Not at all surprised you liked her Arny, she's a lovely lady. I can also vouch for Henry's toilet habits. Good luck with the rest of the trip Arny.

No probs. I do hope that we can meet and chat face to face one day... I have a sneeky feeling we might actually LIKE each other... or is that too much to ask!

Either way, I would love to meet you and certainly would like to meet Debbs again.
