Well there we were struggling along. Doing the house from hell up. Telephone call. It's the police. Nicked Pickup is located. So anyway sends Lads off with tranny van Tow ropes spare diesel and whatever and I starts attacking the kitchen. Making sure to keep it all inside and not getting wet. Loads up the 4x4. When re hot wired and returned. Fitted kitchen, few other lumps of wood and an arm chair on top. 4x4 into deap shit in field, no problem, armed with big can of red diesel. Add a few other unwanted combustials and all OK. Next thing I'm off to the Pub at the appointed nine oclock bewhitching hour. Dirty Harry's gate is open.( Some pillock had sent for the fire brigade) ( For them that dont wat Know. He's a donkey). My lad ( met him at the pub) had gone up to the fire men and said. Please do not put my fire out. I's just lit it. Anyway Fire brigade had to put out fire in a field (Two fire engines). Pitty they did not shut the gate. Hopefully Harry is still around tomorrow when it comes Light.!! So maybe Harry is wandering about unlit Roads tonight in the interestes of safety. And we have to try and relight a sodened bomfire in the morning. Aint they wonderfull.
I'll be down the station early tommorow!!

Someone decipher please

You wrote this when you got back from the pub didn't you?? C'mon now - admit it!

Go back and re-read it, I'm still laughing from the incoherent jibberish and spelling mistakes.

Well whatever!! 'Tis the season to be jolly (etc).

Re: Someone decipher please

I've been writting jibberish on here for so long. I no longer can differentiate between words intentionally spelt wrong because of key board failier. Speed of writing. Lack of editting, or for the sake of dialect or humour. It was suggested some time ago, that I used the spell checker. But it was decided that this would loose the impact and the flow.

Hmm. A bit late now to go back and edit it.
Tell me, wot bits do you not understand??

By the way. Harry has much more sense than fire men and had no intention of roaming around dark roads in the middle of the night.

Re: Someone decipher please

Do keep writing - please!!

I am sat in an office in London with colleagues looking at me 'cos I'm chuckling to myself in front of a computer screen.

It was the obvious speed that your text was written and the way it was strung together, and then the introduction of the Donkey into the story - it was brilliant!

OK, meeting time - must go.

So we can take it that he(Harry) turned up, safe and sound then?

Re: Someone decipher please

Oh yes Harry is safe and well. Did not expect otherwise. He is not called Dirty Harry for nothing. Just waiting for the telephone callls. Or reading in the local rag, to see what mayhem he has created in his night of freedom, before sneaking back into his field before sunrise. Bit of luck and he will have knocked the F*** out of the fire men.
